As a photographer and visual storyteller, I focus on capturing the magic of nature and partnering with individuals, organizations and communities who are committed to advancing environmental and conservation concerns.

 

My passion for birding and bird photography led to my understanding that the decline of native plant and animal species in the midwestern states is largely due to the nearly complete loss of natural habitat.

 

This knowledge, along with the good fortune of working with courageous changemakers, inspires a sense of passion and purpose for my work.

 

I hope to:

 

Raise awareness about the scarce and vital natural land areas that remain in Indiana and Illinois and to advocate for their preservation and restoration throughout the region.

 

Engage individuals with the rich ecological and biological diversity of this region so that they may fully appreciate and enjoy our local natural assets.

 

Inspire people to become advocates and stewards of the land and water in the regions they call home.
